(VOVWORLD) - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un set off for Russia aboard a train on Monday for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, North Korean state news agency KCNA reported, adding that Kim is accompanied by high-ranking officials of the Workers' Party and the North Korean army.

Neither Moscow nor Pyongyang has confirmed an exact schedule for the visit. The Kremlin said simply that talks are planned between the North Korean delegation and Russia.
On Monday, the Kremlin said North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will visit Russia in the next few days at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin.
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and Russian President Putin first met in April 2019 in Vladivostok which was also Mr. Kim’s first visit to Russia.
