(VOVWORLD) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Thursday that Israel’s northern region had suffered the most intense missile attack since October 8 from the armed Islamic movement Hezbollah in Lebanon.
On Wednesday at least 34 rockets were fired at the towns of Rosh Hanikra and Kiryat Shmona in northern Israel near the Lebanese border. No casualties were reported.
The IDF said it responded with several consecutive airstrikes on the locations where the attacks were launched. No further details were provided.
