(VOVworld) – US President Barack Obama left Washington on Thursday for Kenya, Ethiopia, and the African Union headquarters on his 4th visit to Africa since he took office in 2009.

On the eve of his visit, Obama said he looked forward to visiting Kenya, where his father was born, and which now has a great potential for co-operation and development. He said that with its dynamism and rapid growth, Africa has the potential to become the next center of global economic development.
