US President Barack Obama described the US-Israeli bond as “eternal” in his speech on Wednesday after arriving in Tel Aviv. Obama was warmly welcomed by President Shimon Peres, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and new Israeli cabinet members. At a reception, both Netanyahu and Peres thanked the US for
its support for Israel at this crucial time in the Middle East.

Israel is the first destination of Obama’s 3-day visit to the Middle East which will be dedicated to the Israel-Palestine peace progress and Iran’s nuclear program.
