(VOVWORLD) - An online training channel debuted on the YouTube livestream platform this month, part of the Vietnam Digital 4.0 program to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) acquire the online business skills needed to attract customers during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the first pilot phase, 50 training sessions were livestreamed on YouTube and Google’s Hangouts Meet app for between 50 and 150 trainees. Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh said the program will train 500,000 SMEs in digital transformation.
Launched in June 2018 under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City chapter of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Vietnam Women’s Union, and other partners, the program will conduct a series of free training sessions that equip businesses with the skills needed for e-commerce in the digital era.
