(VOVWORLD) - The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies, known as OPEC+, reached a deal on Sunday to slightly increase oil production, beginning next month.

OPEC+ said in a statement that overall production will increase by 400,000 barrels per day. Further changes will be decided after OPEC+ reevaluates the market in December.
The Organization also agreed to extend its output increase until the end of 2022.
