OSCE observers to monitor Russian election
(VOVWORLD) - The Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe will send more than 100 observers from 30 countries to monitor the Russian presidential election on March 18.

The head of the Russian delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Pyotr Tolstoy, expressed his hope that the observers will make an objective and fair assessment of the election. Mr. Tolstoy said each country has its own political views and the OSCE delegation should not be affected by the accusations of freedom and human rights violations spread in Europe recently.
