Nguyen Huu Thuan from Ho Chi Minh city has donated blood 84 times
: "I have donated blood since 1994. At that time, I visited my younger sister at Children’s Hospital 2. I saw a mother carrying her child, asking for blood to save his life. I started donating blood then. I feel happy when someone can be saved".
Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam met the 100 blood donors and praised the activities of the national steering committee for voluntary blood donations and the contributions of the blood donors.
