(VOVworld) – A conference to honor 192 outstanding ethnic businesswomen in the northeastern region was held in Nghe An province on Saturday.

In his address, Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh urged the Vietnam Women’s Union to stimulate emulation movements to encourage women to take part in social humanitarian activities, climate change response, environmental protection, and new rural development.

Earlier, the Steering Committee for the Northeastern Region and the Vietam Women’s Union held a forum on increasing competition in economic development among women in the region.
