(VOVworld) – 64 best works have been honored at an awards ceremony for works on folklore held by the Association of Vietnamese Folklorists (AVF) on Saturday morning in Hanoi. The first prize went to “Hang Trong - Hanoi Folk Paintings” by Phan Ngoc Khue. On this occasion, the association granted the 'Folk artisans' title and the insignia 'For the cause of folklore' to eight artisans who practice and teach the folk musical instruments of the Muong ethnic minority people, genres of folk singing, sewing and embroidery.
