Outstanding Vietnamese farmers honored
(VOVWORLD) - 100 most outstanding farmers and 63 successful agricultural cooperatives in Vietnam in 2023 were honored at a ceremony in Hanoi on Friday.

This is the second consecutive year the Vietnam Farmers’ Association has organized a vote to select prominent farmers of the year.
More particularly, for the first time, 63 typical agricultural cooperatives were celebrated.
Participants expressed their honor to be recognized as outstanding farmers, adding that the distinction motivates them to continue advance forward and learn and share their experiences in business activities with other peers.
42 of the 100 excellent farmers this year earns 126,000 USD per year. Ngo Van De, a farmer of Tra Vinh province, gained the highest revenue of 5.9 million USD from industrial shrimp farming.
