(VOVworld)- On Thursday, the Party Committee for Overseas Affairs organized a meeting to discuss ways to promote Party building and reach out to overseas Vietnamese.

In his address, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh praised the Committee’s achievements and elaborated on its future tasks: “The Party Committee for Overseas Affairs needs to work with the relevant agencies to guide overseas Vietnamese to seriously abide by Party guidelines and State policies and to fulfill its tasks. The Committee needs to increase communications and educational activities to encourage Party members and Vietnamese people abroad to stay united and contribute to national development as well as to cooperation between Vietnam and other countries”.
