(VOVworld) - Ho Chi Minh City has hosted the 7^th Homeland Spring program for overseas Vietnamese for the first time this year. Deputy Head of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, the event organizer, Tran Hoai Phuong highlights the significance of the event: “The Foreign Ministry and Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee held the program with the theme “glorious nation” this weekend. Overseas Vietnamese will pay tribute to Ben Duoc temple and visited Cu Chi tunnel in commemoration of martyrs and their sacrifice for national liberation and unification. We will host a live TV discussion on HTV to praise overseas Vietnamese contribution to national construction and development. About 800 delegates will join the gala event on Saturday night”
