(VOVworld)- On Wednesday, the Vietnamese embassy in Malaysia organized an event to raise funds for flood victims in Ha Tinh and Quang Binh central provinces.

Overseas Vietnamese in Malaysia, Czech Republic raise money for flood victims

In his address, Ambassador Pham Cao Phong called on the embassy staff, enterprises and the Vietnamese community to lend a helping hand to flood victims. The fund raising event will last until October 31. Also that day, a concert to mark Vietnamese Women’s Day and a charitable auction took place in Prague in the Czech Republic. Approximately US$10,000 was raised at the event to help Vietnam’s flood victims.
