Overseas Vietnamese welcome Tet
(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s Mission
to the United Nations, WTO and other international organizations in Geneva, Switzerland
held a banquet to welcome the Lunar New Year. Nearly 200 overseas Vietnamese
studying and working in Switzerland
and all diplomats attended the event. Ambassador Pham Quoc Tru, deputy
head of the Mission reviewed highlights of external
relation activities over the past year and shared wishes of Vietnamese people living
in Switzerland.
Overseas Vietnamese and many
international friends in Macau, China, gathered to welcome the Lunar New Year
(Tet) at a meeting hosted by the Vietnamese Consulate General in Hong Kong and Macau on February 21.
The Germany-Vietnam Friendship Association
organized a get-together this week to celebrate the lunar New Year (Tet)
festival with the participation of many Vietnamese students and workers in Germany. This
has been the second year, the Germany-Vietnam Friendship Association host this
event celebrating Vietnamese traditional Tet for German friends and Vietnamese people
living and working in Germany.
