Vietnamese ambassador to Singapore Tao Thi Thanh Huong informed the Vietnamese community there about the achievements that Vietnam gained last year despite the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

She added the Vietnam-Singapore strategic partnership continues to be enhanced and develops in the context of the pandemic. The two countries have cooperated in implementing tasks of the ASEAN Chair 2020, as well as in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, and agreed to ensure food security.

The ambassador also spoke highly of overseas Vietnamese’s contribution to the homeland and to boosting Vietnam-Singapore relations.
