(VOVworld) – A Pakistani military force backed by helicopters on Monday completed a campaign to rescue the hostages at the Balochistan Police Training College.

At least 20 people were killed and the death toll is likely to increase. The police said there were 500-700 students and teachers at the college when the attack occurred.  

Local officials said 5 or 6 unidentified gunmen attacked the Balochistan Police Training College in eastern Quetta at mid-night Monday. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
