Park Hang-seo honored one of best coaches in Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - For the first time in the history of Vietnamese sport, a foreign coach has been honored in a vote to select the most outstanding athletes and coaches of the year. He is Park Hang-seo of the men’s national football team.

Park ranked third in the best coach award, thanks to his efforts to help the team enter the final round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Asian qualifiers.
In this category, Pham Minh Giang of the national futsal team became the winner, followed by athletics coach Tran Van Sy.
Swimmer Nguyen Huy Hoang was voted the best athlete of 2021. Hoang was the first Vietnamese athlete to reach the 'A standard', qualifying for the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
The remaining positions of Top 10 athletes includefemale footballer Cu Huynh Nhu, athlete Quach Thi Lan, and swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien.
The awards were given based on a vote by sports journalists nationwide.
