Chairing the Committee’s meeting in Hanoi on Friday, Mr. Trong said cadres, Party members and the wider public have applauded the Party and State’s anti-corruption drive, a factor to consolidate the people’s trust in the Party and regime. He praised the close coordination between relevant agencies, particularly litigation agencies, in solving arising problems. Partly leader and President Trong outlined future tasks: “There should be no hesitation. Nobody is allowed to be irresolute. The entire Party and people should be determined to combat corruption to meet the needs of the revolution and live up the people’s expectations. Our determination spirit should be spread widely.”
Mr. Trong ordered the prevention of petty corruption and elimination of decadent, corrupt officials from the Party and State apparatus. Communications and education on the fight against corruption should be strengthened, he added.
