Part-time deputies must devote at least one third of working time to NA activities: NA Chairman
(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly will focus on improving deputies’ performances to make the top legislative body more effective, said NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.

Mr. Hue made the statement while meeting with voters in the northern port city of Hai Phong on Tuesday ahead of the National Assembly and People’s Council election on May 23.
“Part-time deputies must devote at least one third of their working time to National Assembly activities. We are working to make the performance of both full-time and part-time deputies more professional.”
Chairman Hue said that the National Assembly will revise the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment and the Health Insurance Law to meet people’s needs, particularly during the fight against COVID-19.
The NA leader also emphasized the importance of preventive medicine, adding that the Government will increase the effectiveness of solutions that have been applied to support businesses and people to overcome difficulties caused by COVID-19.
