(VOVworld) – A meeting of Hanoi National Assembly deputies was held on Sunday on the occasion of 70th anniversary of the first General Election of Vietnamese National Assembly.

National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung expressed his thank to veteran National Assembly deputies for their great contribution to laying the first foundation for the National Assembly’s operation in the early days. Mr. Hung said, over the past years, the municipal National Assembly deputies have successfully fulfilled their tasks. He expressed his hope that the deputies would continue to contribute to building and developing the capital city.
