Party chief offers incense in tribute of late leaders
(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on Friday paid tribute to the late senior leaders of the Party and State at their home on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2022.

Mr. Trong offered incense to Party General Secretary Le Duan, a prestigious leader with 60 years of revolutionary activities and 26 consecutive years from 1960 to 1986 serving as First Secretary and General Secretary of the Party Central Committee. Party leader Le Duan devoted his life to national liberation and reunification, and was an excellent theorist, a great creative thinker of the Vietnamese revolution with the motto "revolution is creation, truth is specific."
Afterwards, Party leader Trong paid tribute to the late Party General Secretary Truong Chinh, who was elected three times to the highest position of the Party.
On Friday morning, Mr. Trong offered incense in memory of late Party General Secretary Do Muoi and late Party General Secretary Le Kha Phieu.
