(VOVworld) - Nghi Son in north-central Thanh Hoa province is one of the country’s key coastal economic zones, giving a strong impetus to the nation’s transition to a more modern industrialized society. Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong made the remark during a visit to the Nghi Son Economic Zone (EZ) on Friday.

He commended the efforts by Thanh Hoa provincial leaders, as well as officers, engineers, experts, and workers for their dedicated service and commitment in getting the Nghi Son EZ up and running. Trong expected Thanh Hoa province and the economic zone achieve rapid economic growth and contribute to strengthening the region’s and national economy.
