Vladimir Kolotov, Head of the Far East History Department of St. Petersburg State University, said Vietnam has become a “new Asian tiger” thanks to its renewal process since 1986. He hailed Vietnam’s efforts to control inflation and promote international integration, saying the country pursues a strategy of national development and maintaining a balanced relationship with world powers.

Vladimir Mazyrin, Director of the Far East Institute's Vietnam-ASEAN Research Centre, highlighted the comprehensive leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam. He praised Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong’s resolve to fight corruption.
