Speaking at a meeting in HCM City with former high-ranking officials on Monday, the Party leader said the Party Politbureau will hold such a meeting twice a year to report on the country’s situation so that the participants can contribute their opinions to national development. Trong expressed his wish that the entire people and all generations of Party and State leaders and officials will join efforts to overcome harships and make further progress in national industrialization and modernization. “This year has posed many difficulties. We are determined to carry out Party resolutions, including issues on Party building and economic restructuring. We will work out drastic measures based on the experiences gained in Party building and national defense,” said the Party leader.
