(VOVworld) – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong received a high-ranking delegation of the Lao Ministry of Public Security, led by Minister Thongbanh Sengaphone, in Hanoi on Friday. Trong expressed his delight over the flourishing relationship and special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos, which is partly contributed by the two countries’ public security forces. He praised the Lao delegation’s visit to Vietnam and the results of cooperation between the two ministries. The Party leader urged for continued efforts to promote the two countries’ tradition, mutual assistance and close coordination to ensure security and social order.
