(VOVworld) – Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong and the visiting Lao Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith have expressed their pleasure at the good development of the relationship between Vietnam and Laos.

At a reception for Laos’ PM, the two leaders reiterated that the traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation are precious assets of the two Parties, and peoples, and an important resource for the national development and defense thus contributing to the regional peace, stability and cooperation.

PM Thongloun discussed with Party chief Trong the results of his talks with Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and other Vietnamese leaders.

Mr. Trong affirmed that Vietnam strongly supports Laos’ renewal, adding that he believes Laos’ people will continue to gain new achievements from this process.
