(VOVworld) – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong received in Hanoi on Tuesday a delegation of former young volunteers and the relatives of those who have recently been posthumously presented the title Hero of the armed forces.

He praised the great sacrifices of the former young volunteers to Vietnam’s revolution and said that the party and state would never forget their contributions: “I hope that the former young volunteers will continue to set an example for the younger generation to follow. We should continue to care for social beneficiaries, particularly those in difficult circumstances.”
