Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong has paid Tet visit to the central province of Quang Ngai . He asked local authority to pay more care for poor communes and households facing difficulties due to natural disaster so that all will enjoy a happy Tet. He urged the province to ensure capable processing and market outlets to promote the fisheries industry.

The permanent member of Party Secretariat Le Hong Anh has paid Tet visit to the central province of Thua Thien Hue . He welcomed the progress made by the province and called for more efforts to strengthen unity and care for people with disadvantages in the region. The province has granted needy households with 1,000 tons of rice and Tet gifts.
