(VOVworld) - Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong has called for more officials and Party members’ awareness on the importance of agriculture, farmers and the countryside in national industrialization and modernization. In a meeting to gather Politbureau’s comments on the implementation of relating Party resolution over the past 5 years, Trong said the building of new rural areas and fundamental agriculture must be strategic issues in national industrialization and modernization. This has to be done in line with infrastructure development and the preservation of cultural identities.
