(VOVworld) – The People’s Security Institute was granted with the title of Hero of the People’s Armed Forces in Vietnam's national resistance war against American aggressors. Since its first academic year in 1946, the Institute has trained thousands students in 10 majors. The graduates have been devoted to ensuring national political and social security. Many of them have held important positions in the Party and State agencies.

National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung granted the title of Hero of the People’s Armed Forces on the People's Security Institute

National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung appreciated the achievements of the Institute and its trainees over the past 69 years. “The People’s Security Institute must fully understand and improve the revolutionary spirit of the security officers. It’s important to strengthen the Institute politically and organizationally, improve the quality of training, and apply high technology to resolve evolving issues. Its tasks include training professional forces who are righteous, professional, have a firm political will, and are loyal to the Party, State, and people. The Institute will continue its advisory role to the Party, State, and the public security sector in resolving national security issues in the future.”

Minister of Public Security, General Tran Dai Quang, presented a certificate acknowledging the People’s Security Institute as a key training center for public security.
