(VOVworld) – On Tuesday, at a press conference following the last session of the 13^th National Assembly, Secretary General of the National Assembly Nguyen Hanh Phuc said deputies had spent a large amount of time on personnel work: “Thorough personnel preparations had been made so no contingencies occurred during the session. The relieving from duty and election of high-ranking officials were in line with Party, state, and National Assembly regulations.”

Deputy Secretary General of the National Assembly Le Minh Thong said the 13^th National Assembly’s election of senior officials was in line with the law. The National Assembly elected 37 senior officials, including the Chairperson of the National Assembly, the President, and the Prime Minister.
