The agreement is part of Pfizer/BioNTech’s global commitment to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Pfizer representative said both sides have completed negotiations for the deal and the first shipment could arrive in Vietnam in July.
The Health Ministry said Pfizer’s product – named Comirnaty – comes in doses of 0.3ml of mRNA molecules protected by lipid nanoparticles and its delivery is scheduled for the third and fourth quarters of this year.
