The five presidential candidates are Jejomar Ninay, Vice President and President of the United Nationalist Alliance, former Interior Secretary Manuel Mar Roxas, Senator Grace Poe, Davao Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, and Senator Mariam Defensor Santiago of the People’s Reform Party. A recent opinion poll showed Duterte, who has been tough on crime and corruption, with the most support.
