(VOVworld) – 60 documentary photos are on display at an exhibition in Laos to mark the 70^th anniversary of Vietnam’s diplomatic sector.

Vietnam's ambassador to Laos Nguyen Manh Hung said at the exhibition opening ceremony.

The photos depict Vietnam’s struggles for national liberation and reunification, its foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, openness, diversification and multilateralization of external relations and active international integration. Vietnam’s ambassador to Laos Nguyen Manh Hung said: “The photos also emphasize the special relations between Vietnam and Laos and help people understand more about the contributions of Vietnam’s diplomatic sector in making full use of outside support for national development, defence, national integrity and rising Vietnam’s position in the region and the world”.
