(VOVworld) – Phu Quoc has set a target of attracting 1.8 million tourists this year, 25% higher than last year, said Huynh Quang Hung, Vice Chairman of the Phu Quoc district People’s Committee.

The district will enhance tourism management, preserve and promote its historic sites, tourist attractions, traditional festivals, and cruise tourism.  Cooperation with domestic and foreign partners will be expanded and new tours will be introduced.  Phu Quoc will also launch new flights to Da Lat and some foreign cities.
