Phu Tho earmarks over 200mln USD for Hung Kings Temple complex presevation
(VOVworld) - Authorities of the northern province of Phu Tho have earmarked 4.5 trillion VND for upgrading and embellishing the Hung Kings Temple complex, aiming to turn the special national historical site into an attractive tourism destination.

Under a master preservation plan till 2025, the province will spend 1.78 trillion VND in 2016-2020 to complete undergoing infrastructure facilities, transport works as well as environmental protection projects. Resettlement areas will be also constructed to serve the works.
From 2021-2025, more than 2.72 trillion VND will be invested in constructing a Hung Kings Temple tower and surrounding architectural works, planting more trees in the Hung Kings Temple national park, building entertainment centres, and developing tourism sites and areas for festivals.
Water drainage, power, and road systems in these areas will be upgraded, while communes in surrounding areas will be supported by a boost in local economic development.
