(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc landed at Changgi Airport on Tuesday for the 33rd ASEAN Summit and related meetings in Singapore.

The same day, Mr. Phuc attended the opening ceremony and plenary session of the Summit, which discussed measures to tighten cooperation and connectivity, and build a resilient and innovative ASEAN. He also took part in the opening ceremony of a Vietnamese Goods Week in Singapore.
Over the next two days, the PM will participate in the ASEAN Plus Three Summit with China, Japan and the Republic of Korea, the East Asia Summit, ASEAN Plus One Summits with China, the RoK, Japan, the US, India, Australia and Russia, and the second Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Summit.
