PM assures India’s Adani Group of favorable investment environment
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh praised Vietnam’s potential in shipping, seaport ecosystem, and renewable energy including wind and solar power, as he applauded the Indian Adani Group's policy of investing in these fields, first of all in Lien Chieu port of the central city of Da Nang.

Prime Minister Chinh on Wednesday met in Hanoi with Karan Adani, CEO of the Adani Ports and Special Economic Zones of Adani Group, India's largest economic group, who is seeking investment opportunities in Vietnam.
At the meeting, the PM called on Adani to expand its investment in digital transformation, digital economy and digital society in Vietnam.
He said the Vietnamese Government is ready to create favorable conditions for Adani Group to study other investment projects and encourage more Indian investors to do business here. He said he hopes that Adani Group will coordinate effectively with its Vietnamese partners to gain fruitful results.
Karan Adani said that the Group will work closely with its Vietnamese partners on specific projects. He affirmed commitment to long-term investment in Vietnam, in which, he wished to build a green seaport ecosystem and invest in wind and solar power plants with a total capital of 3 billion USD.
