(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung worked with the Ministry of Planning and Investment on administrative reforms for business startups and dissolution and investment in Hanoi on Wednesday.

He stressed the importance of increasing national competitiveness and improving the investment climate to survive and develop during a time of international integration. He added that fine-tuning the socialist-oriented market economy mechanism was one of the three strategic breakthroughs to achieve rapid and sustainable growth. He noted that administrative reform was the most effective solution to increasing competitiveness and improving the investment environment.

The government leader asked for reducing the time for granting business licenses from 4 days to a maximum of 2 days this year. He also asked the Ministry of Planning and Investment to promote the one-stop-shop model and IT applications to improve state management.
