(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Saturday expressed heartfelt sentiment and gratitude to teachers all over Vietnam as he addressed a ceremony to mark the 40th anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day.

At the celebration organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in Hanoi, Prime Minister Chinh said he hopes that the teachers will always uphold morality, talent, love of profession, and love of people, constantly learn, accumulate knowledge and experience, improve professional qualifications, be dynamic, take a new approach to teaching and learning, actively apply science and technology to contribute to fostering future generations of the country.
“Today, we all give our love, gratitude, wishes, smiles, and fresh flowers to all teachers in every part of the country. The teachers have been, are and will always be an example, the sower, the caretaker, the nurturer of the seeds of the soul, so that the seeds of morality, personality, knowledge, and kindness always shine, to make our society better and our country of Vietnam "stand shoulder to shoulder with the great powers of the five continents" as the wish of the great President Ho Chi Minh,” he said.
