PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc receives leaders of Norwegian groups
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc had a meeting with leaders of leading Norwegian groups Kongsberg and Pharmaq in Oslo as part of his official visit to the European country from May 24 to 26.

Mr. Phuc called on these groups to cooperate with the Vietnamese side in implementing signed projects, especially as Vietnam is boosting its maritime economy, renewable and clean energy. He stressed that Vietnam always welcomes and is willing to create all favourable conditions for foreign investors, including those from Norway.
While receiving Prime Minister Phuc at Pharmaq’s headquarters in Oslo, the group leader Morten Nordstad said the group wants to cooperate with Vietnam as the latter is developing its aquaculture industry sustainably. He added that Norway wants to coordinate with Vietnamese universities to design lectures on this subject.
Mr. Phuc suggested Pharmaq to build a factory producing vaccines for fish in Vietnam.
On Saturday evening, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his spouse had a meeting with the Vietnamese Embassy staff and overseas Vietnamese in Oslo.
He underscored the Vietnamese Party and State’s consistent policies of considering overseas Vietnamese worldwide an inseparable part of the Vietnamese nation. He encouraged them to do their best to contribute to the development of both Vietnam and Norway while boosting ties between the two countries.
