(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese government is always ready to walk side by side with and facilitate the operation of foreign businesses in Vietnam including those from the Republic of Korea (RoK), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh told the RoK’s ambassador and businesses on Tuesday.

PM Chinh said that Vietnam is taking drastic measures to contain the COVID-19 pandemic while working on plans to speed up economic recovery adapting to the pandemic, digital transformation, and administrative reform.
He reaffirmed the Government’s policy of free vaccination for Vietnamese citizens and foreigners in Vietnam, with priority given to workers in supply chains industrial parks, export processing zones, and high-tech parks.
The Prime Minister suggested the RoK continue to help Vietnam obtain more COVID-19 vaccines and cooperate with Vietnam in technology transfer and the production of vaccines, drugs, and medical equipment.
He said he hopes the RoK will facilitate the export of Vietnam’s farm produce to the country and create the best conditions for the Vietnamese community there.
