PM to attend ASEAN-Australia Summit, visit Australia, New Zealand
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his spouse will attend the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit to commemorate the 50th anniversary of ASEAN-Australia dialogue relations, and pay official visits to Australia and New Zealand from March 5-11, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced.

The PM's attendance at the summit and visits will be made at the invitation of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Prime Minister of New Zealand Christopher Luxon.
The Special Summit will be held in Melbourne from March 5-6, to be attended by leaders of ASEAN countries, Australia and the ASEAN Secretary General.
The Summit titled "Partnership for the Future" will take place amid dynamic cooperation between ASEAN and Australia. It provides an opportunity for the two sides to review the relationship over the past 50 years and exchange measures to promote substantive and effective development of the relationship, in accordance with their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership established in 2021.
Within the framework of the Summit, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will attend main meetings and have a number of other important foreign affairs activities.
