PM to attend WEF meeting in China
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will attend the World Economic Forum (WEF)’s 15th Annual Meeting of the New Champions, which will take place in Dalian city, Liaoning province of China next week, at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang and WEF Founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab, the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

PM Chinh will also have working sessions there during his trip from Monday to Thursday.
According to Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Sao Mai, PM Chinh’s participation in the meeting in two consecutive years demonstrates the WEF and the international business community's high regard and appreciation for Vietnam's position, role, and contributions to global and regional economic growth.
The Vietnamese PM will deliver a speech at the opening session and chair some sessions with major corporations and innovative enterprises on issues such as cooperation opportunities, new solutions to global development challenges, and Vietnam's economic development strategy. He will also meet leaders of other countries, international organizations, and major businesses.
PM Chinh will discuss with senior Chinese leaders specific measures to effectively implement the common perceptions reached between the top leaders of the two Parties and countries, and to further elevate the Vietnam-China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, Ambassador Mai said.
