Chairing the Government’s hybrid conference with ministers, heads of sectors and chairmen of the People’s Committees of centrally-run cities and provinces, PM Chinh said it’s now time to reinforce leaders’ consensus on their perception and action and promote their leading role in digital transformation, accelerate the completion of institutions and policies to boost digital transformation in line with international practices, and to develop the digital economy, digital society, and digital citizens.
It is necessary to develop national digital infrastructure, digital platforms, digital data, and a convenient digital ecosystem. Efforts should be made to ensure cybersecurity and information safety, to protect data and safeguard national cyberspace sovereignty early and from afar, and to build a digital culture. It is crucial to ensure that 100% of essential online public services are accessible, safe, convenient, and cost-effective, the Prime Minister said.
“We must develop digital human resources, digital citizens, digital skills, digital talents, and comprehensive, appropriate, economical, and efficient digital infrastructure. Management should be digitized.”
