PM urges policy improvement to develop women’s football
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Tuesday asked the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to fine-tune women’s football development policies with a focus on promoting women’s football in school.

During a reception for the national women's football team in Hanoi, PM Chinh said the Ministry and related agencies and organizations including the Vietnam Football Federation to craft a long-term, sustainable development strategy for women’s football.
He praised the team for their first-ever participation in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, saying Vietnam has made significant and steady progress, gradually approaching top-tier teams worldwide.
The players pledged to achieve better results, firstly at the upcoming 2023 Asian Games (ASIAD 19) set to take place in China in September and October.
