(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited a shrimp processing for export model of Minh Phu Seafood Corporation in Ca Mau province on Sunday.

The Prime Minister applauded the business’ performance to become the biggest shrimp exporter in Vietnam and generate jobs for workers. He also called for efforts to ensure workers’ living conditions and build houses for them. The government leader asked the corporation to focus on research and development of shrimp raising models in mangrove forests and protecting the environment. Mr. Phuc said he hopes the corporation will export shrimp worth 2 billion USD by 2021, one fifth of Vietnam’s total shrimp export turnover target.
