(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has called on the Netherlands to help Vietnam build an innovation and startup centre in Hanoi similar to Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) in Eindhoven city.

PM Chinh visited BIC, considered the Silicon Valley of Europe, as part of his official visit to the Netherlands on Sunday.
Mr. Chinh was briefed about North Brabant, which is one of the 3 most developed industrial provinces in the Netherlands and houses Eindhoven, a major technological hub in Europe.
There are three models that Vietnam wants to learn from the Netherlands, namely the airport, seaport, and Brainport models, he said, noting that the Netherlands has turned from an agricultural country into an industrialized one based on innovation and smart services.
The PM said he hopes that his visit will help elevate relations between the two countries to a new height, strengthening connections between their localities, ministries, and sectors, including between Brainport Industries Campus and Vietnam.
