PM welcomes first official visit to Vietnam by Venezuelan FM
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Saturday welcomed the first official visit to Vietnam by Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil Pinto on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries, on December 18.

At a reception in Hanoi on Saturday, PM Chinh expressed his belief that Pinto's visit will contribute to promoting Vietnam-Venezuela relations, especially in areas where the two sides have potential and need for cooperation.
The Foreign Minister reported to Prime Minister Chinh on the results of his meeting with Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Party Central Committee’s External Relations Commission, as well as his meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son.
He said the two sides had extensive discussions on issues of mutual concern, proposed specific measures and agreed on the future bilateral cooperation program between Vietnam and Venezuela.
